As leather is a natural product, every hide has parts which may not be suitable for making our regular products. So to reduce waste, and utilise offcuts, we’re crafting a series of round coasters featuring a raw edge detail, measuring approx 100mm diameter, and approx 3mm thick.
Perfectly imperfect, our zero waste coasters may feature natural marks and/or surface scratching. The pair of coasters will be a matching pair, however due to the full grain nature of the leather, no two will be the same! Choose from our Italian Saddle Tan, Conker or Black Dakota leathers.
Coasters are the perfect product for this leather, it will quickly take on marks and develop its unique patina through being exposed to moisture - a drip of hot coffee, or mulled cider, or cold condensation from a crisp beer, the original marks will be disguised and the coaster will soon transform completely, taking on a life and look of its own.
